Ruffle Sleeves + Kimono=Bingo Bango
Full weeks and ruffle sleeve kimonos.
It's been an eventful week: work, getting Doug ready for his weekend in Chicago for continuing education, blogger shoots, a sweet ice cream break with Mr. Handsome, meetings, dinner for the first time at The Sovengard (West Michigan friends you need to try it out!), and a solid number of cups of coffee/tea.
Grateful for the fullness of life. I appreciated the reminder from Katie Grace Photography (on her Instagram story today) that this busyness is a representation of God's blessings. That He has provided days of work, people, and even places to gather that we are called to take care of, well. It inspired me to pause and remember that these weeks of "I have been really busy" are a tangible display of God's presence in our lives.
For days that keep you on the go, one of my favorite easy outfits is taking a really basic black dress and pairing it with a statement kimono or shrug. The little black dress serves as the perfect canvas for a wide variety of accessories. I fell in love with this bell sleeve kimono from Anthropologie. I am a sucker for ruffle/bell sleeves and (as you well know) kimonos so this piece was an easy choice.
