Happy International Women's Day
To all the women in my life and in this world that continue to break the mold, shatter ceilings, and inspire me...I love you. I hope you know how loved and beautiful you are.
One of my favorite looks consists of understated basics mixed with some kind of statement piece (usually some kind of duster or longer overcoat). Enter this whimsical, sleek, dramaticness from Anthro. I wore this to the office today with a black tunic and black crop pants #businessblackalldayerrryday. I have also paired the coat with a gold jumpsuit and a simple shift dress AKA the options are endless. Also, the lining had me at hello.
The delicate embroidery has flowers, vines, and BIRDS. Big pause y'all. As many of you know I am terrified to my very being of birds. Literally considered not buying this jacket because of it. Lesson here: face you fears head on and buy. the. jacket.
