Holiday Season Outfit Idea

Dressing for the holidays all winter long…

I can’t help but love getting dressed for the holiday season. The textures, colors, and tones in clothing during this time of year are some of my favorite (think metallics, tweed, sequins). While our beloved holidays will most likely look different for most of us this year, it’s still fun to get glammed up even if it’s just a simple gathering.

For this outfit, I paired a gold maxi skirt with a simple white shirt. I thought about an oxford or more dressed up top, but wanted to use the embellished bow tie collar. A tweed Kate Spade coat with fancy buttons was the top layer to bring together the whole look.
