Khari: Actor, Beyonce Enthusiast, Light
This guy’s energy is so special.
I got to hang out with Khari the other day and snap some photos of him for his portfolio (Beyonce as theme music in the background? 100%). He’s a bit of a triple threat who’s honing in on all of those skills and paving his way into the vast world of theatre. He’s very active in the local theatre scene most recently at Grand Rapids Civic Theatre in The Little Mermaid as one of the ominous eels who plays sidekick to Ursula.
I loved chatting with him, hearing his thoughtful perspective, and diving into the complicated enigma of ‘finding yourself’ when you’re in your early 20s. Regardless of what Khari does, his heart will be there too. You can just tell that he’s one of those people who lives full force while remaining empathetic to others, and sensitively considerate of the world’s issues. There’s a beautiful balance there that I think we could all aspire to.
