Fri-yay everybody!

Went to the press opening for Iris Boutique this morning. The owner, Cathy has filled her charming space on Cherry Street with the most ah-maze accessories. The concept came from her time as a personal stylist. She said that she noticed that in a lot of stores accessories are almost an afterthought. Interestingly, great accessories can truly make an outfit. She wanted to fill that gap by having a boutique with thoughtfully curated pieces that can elevate any ensemble. Also, she's super sweet (seriously)/talked about intuition (yaas!)/is all about empowering women and local artisans (yaaaas)! Also, the name of the store was inspired by Iris Apfel...how great is that?!

After the opening, we found this great little spot to shoot some pictures. I am in love with this jacket from Anthropologie. It's perfect for a spring day like today when the temp was a bit chilly. Paired with white pants (naturally), and a longer shirt dress I loved the comfort/ease of this.
