The Found Cottage Mercantile Market 2017

Maybe I bought a suitcase, cornhole set, and a hat...

I went to the inaugural Found Cottage Mercantile Market this past weekend. OHMY. Quality vendors, beautiful weather, and killer food trucks...so much goodness. I was struck by the variety of what you could buy; anything from vintage decor finds to clothing with a little of everything in between.

But, like most things in life, I kept noticing the people. A fun crew of gals from Texas who flew here for the event pulling their overflowing wagon. Excited first time vendors/shop owners who had never done a market before. "Instagram friends" finally meeting in real life. The three dedicated shop owners running around to make sure everything ran smoothly and meet/greet customers. Y'all: amazing things happen when we come together to support events in our community. It was this lovely picture of connectedness; couples, mother/daughter duos, friends...all coming together to sell or shop.

I got to wander around and snap photos with my friend Kristin. It was the perfect afternoon of chatting with her, treasure hunting, and a fresh squeezed lemonade (@thepetitefleet).
