Gina's Boutique: Strong Women, Romence Gardens, Flowers Galore
Snapping photos in the middle of flowers with some lovely women? Sign me up, errrryday.
I recently took photos for Gina’s Boutique a local clothing boutique. The backdrop was Romence Gardens here in Grand Rapids which was in full, colorful, happy bloom. I love doing shoots like this and getting a chance to chat with the models who are often local professionals/creatives/all around cool gals who either model on the side or do this on the side.
There was something really powerful about taking photos of this group of women during this time in our culture. I loved the bold representation and hearing their different perspectives. It felt like more than a shoot. It was a statement on the importance of coming together, sharing, enjoying each other’s company even in something as simple as modeling outfits for a local shop.
