WHO RUN THE WORLD? Girls.
I recently had the privilege of shooting at The Barre Code here in Grand Rapids. As soon as I walked in, I could feel the positive, happy energy. Beyonce pumping in the background, chatter from the group as they got ready, and their fearless leader Stacie greeting me. A sidebar about Stacie…she is everything you would want in a business owner and woman in your community. When you’re chatting with her, you can’t help but absorb her relaxed, ultimate cool girl vibe. She’s kind, intelligent, and boldly passionate about what she does and the women she serves.
The studio as a whole is such an empowering, fun atmosphere. A lot of that can be attributed to the people that were there…everyone in the class embodied such a natural strength and excitement for what they were doing. That is the kind of real deal magic that you can’t fake in shoots. I had a great time hanging with this bunch while they did.their.thing. It was amazing to be able to capture them in all of their power girl action.
