Made Market | Winter 2019

This little market has found its way right into my heart.

A year or so ago, I remember getting an email from Made Market, a market based in Kentucky but coming to Grand Rapids. They were looking for some local folks to help promote them coming to town. I connected with the concept of their markets-bringing local makers and artisans together in one place to provide a space for them to sell their products. Since, they have come back multiple times for summer and winter markets and become a household name in the city.

I have loved the opportunity of working with them to help spread the word about the market itself. This winter, I had the honor of snapping photos for them. It was such a happy, energetic morning. There always seems to be a palpable buzz in the air at this one and of course, the holiday season really brings an extra dose of magic to their winter installment. It was great to be there to snap photos vs. just as a shopper as it provided the avenue for me to really study and appreciate the visuals of each vendor in a different way.
